Local Resources

24/7 Warmline. Call 402-261-5959. Staffed by peer specialists through the Mental Health Association. Sponsors Keya House, a safe place to stay for up to 5 days for individuals. struggling with mental health or substance abuse. The house is staffed by peer specialists.

Mental Health Association of Nebraska. 402-441-4371. A peer operated association providing a variety of services to individuals with mental health or substance abuse issues.

Voices of Hope. 402-476-2110. Crisis intervention for victims of domestic abuse, sexual assault or related forms of abuse. Offers support groups.

Aging Partners. 402-441-7070. Offers a wide range of services and information for issues related to aging such as handyman help, legal assistance, information about senior care facilities, etc.

Lutheran Family Services. 402-342-7007. A community mental health clinic. Includes community support workers and services for individuals with persistent severe mental illness.

Blue Valley Behavioral Health. Offers a variety of mental health services and community support workers. Located in several rural areas as well as Lincoln.

Nebraska Psychological Association: A professional organization primarily for psychologists. A resource to research providers and specialties in Nebraska.

Bryan Hospital. Offers inpatients psychiatric care for crises and a partial hospitalization program.

Mourning Hope. 402-488-8989. A grief support network for children, teens, young adults and their families who have experienced the death of a significant person. Offers grief support groups.

Saint Mark’s United Methodist Church. Offers DivorceCare which consists of 13 week class for adults and groups for children experiencing a divorce.

Region V Systems. Contracts with providers to offer a broad array of services for individuals with mental health or substance abuse issues.

NAMI Nebraska serves Nebraska residents with free mental health support, online groups, resources and education.
