The Psychology Center is taking the following precautions to protect our patients and help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

  • Office seating in the waiting room and in therapy/testing rooms has been arranged for appropriate physical distancing.
  • All therapists will wear masks in the main office areas
  • We will maintain safe distancing.
  • Restroom soap dispensers are maintained and everyone is asked to wash their hands thoroughly.
  • Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the therapy/testing rooms.
  • We schedule appointments at specific intervals to minimize the number of people in the waiting room.
  • We ask all patients to wait in their cars before their appointment times, and wait for a call or text from their therapist.
  • Credit card pads, pens and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each use.
  • Physical contact is not permitted.
  • Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.
  • Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at mid-day and at the end of each day.
  • Each therapist will sanitize their office space common touched areas such door knobs and couches between sessions.
  • We ask all patients to wear a mask in the common areas. If you do not have a mask, we will offer you one.
  • COVID-19 guidelines, suggest that there be a “no visitor” policy except for an adult accompanying a minor child and only individuals in the office are those directly working in therapy.  Visitors can wait in their vehicles.  Additional client items should be left in their vehicles (e.g., children toys, food, coats, jackets, etc.
